I keep on reminding myself that this preparation to getting to Cambodia is a PROCESS!
Over the last few weeks I have been trying super hard to get everything ready to send out to churches and friends. Right now I am in the process of gather names of those who would like to recieve my prayer letters and more information about Action Cambodia. If you would like to be a part of this mailing or you'd like to support me as I prepare to be a missionary long-term in Cambodia, you can check out the Action International website at http://www.actionintl.org/ and look for my name : Jen Duff under Missionaries :).
Just want to give God glory on a few things He has been doing in my life:
1-He is growing me as I read His Word
2-He is allowing me to get to know the team in Cambodia more via email :) They are great! I hope you each can meet them one day!
3-He has provided a college student from BBC (because of his parents business) to provide all the printing for my support letters and prayer cards!
4-He allowed my mom to be here for almost a week for Ladies LYFE (living your faith everyday) Conference here at BBC. It was a sweet time of fellowship in His Word together.
5-My parents will be here the 2nd week of July for Volunteers week at BBC and I'll get to see them everyday for a week! :)
6-I had my first church meeting 2 tuesdays ago, it was both affirming and encouraging
7-For the Huteks who are graciously welcoming me into their home while I raise support!
Here are some prayer requests:
1-I will need to go to PILAT (Language school) in Colorado before going to Cambodia. Pray for funds to go ($1500 plus plane ticket there) and when I should go
2-That God would allow me to finish strong at BBC. That He would allow me to recruit many students to go into full time ministry.
3-For a part-time job in MI when I move out there in September 2008
4-For all the TRANSITIONS...for my family as I leave, for me as I get adjusted to a new culture, for my friends here in Clarks Summit that I will be leaving.
5- That in His Timing I would raise my support to go to Cambodia
6-For the salvation of those that I work for in Scranton
7-For God to work out the arrangements for this summer in some specific areas that I am praying about.
I know this is just a snapshot of life here in Clarks Summit, but I wanted to get some info out there so you could be in the know! I am so thankful for each of you! I know that you are praying for me! I am so grateful!!
Until the Shout,
Jen :)
